The Arctic Ocean Adventure With Barrow Extension
(4 Days - 3 Nights)
Travel north on the Steese and Elliott highways. From Livengood, we begin the Dalton Highway to Prudhoe Bay. At Finger Mountain learn how the country was formed by lava outcroppings 300 million years ago. Climb over Atigun Pass, the highest highway pass in Alaska at 4875 feet with Chandalar Shelf. At Chandalar Valley we will be North of the Alaskan tree line and in open tundra. Overnight in Coldfoot, Deadhorse and Barrow.
